I came in today because I had never been before. I ordered a specialty slice (pepperoni, bacon and black olives, 1st topping is free and extras are 0.50), fried pickles, a plain quesabirria taco and a vanilla banana cream cake. The food was amazing. the pizza was perfectly cooked with a twisted, garlic and herb brushed crust, it was thin with a well cooked bottom and so big they give you a pizza cutter with your slice. The pickles were perfectly fries pickle chips, light, and crunchy with a good batter. The quesabirria taco looked messy- but dont judge it by its looks. it was perfectly cooked, no part of it was dry, the meat was super juicy and flavorful- but not super spicy so it was easy on my sensitive stomach. I'll be coming back as much as I can. P.s. They have the little chewy ice from Sonic!

I came in with little expectation because of the area. It's in a rough part of town, in a shitty little strip mall. The decor is confusing. The menu is confusing. How is it more expensive to order the daily special than it is to order the items separately? 20 for a slice, appetizer and a drink? That sounds excessive. Then the food came out. first the pizza. Sauce was great, not too sweet but not too tangy. Really allowed the ingredients to stand in their own which is great because all of the ingredients were high quality. Where most pizza places fall short is the crust but here mama's stands above the rest. It wasn't burnt but still had a great crisp to it. Everything came together greatly. Also, I had the garlic knots. Pulled apart nicely but didn't fall apart. Great flavor and didn't nickel and dime me when I asked for another dipping sauce they just brought me one. Overall, incredible food great experience I will be back soon.

Best pizza that I have had in a while. The service was fast as well. I would definitely go here again if I'm ever in the area. Also where else can you get a large pizza for 12.00??? Can't beat the prices either.

Such delicious pizza, the super slice pizza is DEFINITELY worth it. I am in love with all of the food here, prices are amazing. If i were coming here for the first time again i would definitely love to experience the prickly pear lemonade for the first time again. Family owned shop that takes care of each customer. The service is always impeccable, my favorite cashier is Yuri, always remembering my order. Clean restaurant, lovely decorations. 100/10 quality restaurant. The owners are amazing, thank you mamas pizza house

stopped at Mama’s Pizza in Phoenix, and it was absolutely fantastic! The large slice of pizza was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and hit the spot. I also tried the spicy wings, which were delicious—just the right amount of heat and tenderness. The service was top-notch; the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. The facility itself was spotless and inviting, which added to the overall positive vibe. If you’re looking for amazing food and exceptional service in a clean and welcoming space, Mama’s Pizza is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Heard about this place on instagram. Little leery paying 20 for two slices and water, but turned out to be MASSIVE. The flavor is truly mouth watering. I ordered the Hawaiian which was dripping with cheese, the crust is crunchy but gooey and garlicky. The is always a maker or breaker for me - they did the sauce masterfully! Definitely coming back

What a great place. Walked into a very clean and friendly place. The food was fantastic and huge slices of pizza that you can customize. I had pizza and wings and enjoyed them both very much.

We were in the area after visiting Phoenix for some spring training games, looking for a good local spot to eat. Originally from Ohio, we weren’t too sure where to go and weren’t impressed with the places we had tried on our trip. Until we found Mama’s!! Seriously such a great and delicious spot to grab a slice, especially after a baseball game! Service was great, they were very kind and pretty quick. My fiance got the super slice and I got a mini slice, which was so yummy and just the right amount for each of us! If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely stop in!
